T'ai Chi can be described as a series of continuous, slow, graceful
movement. It has several meanings and interpretations:T'ai = The ultimate, supreme,
gigantic Chi = energy, power, internal force T'ai Chi means the ultimate supreme internal
force. T'ai Chi originated in China, then later moved to other countries. It has been
described as a moving meditation. There are many styles of T'ia Chi: Yang, Chen and Wu are
just a few. From these styles other have branched out. I personally see and feel that T'ai
Chi is found in all forms of the martial arts. On my journey into Kenpo I have
discovered Kenpo lacking in a few aspects of Martial arts heath, and longevity. In
the last fifteen years I have seen Kenpo practitioners die of heath related conditions at
a early age. It seems to me that Kenpo is such a dynamic martial art that the style
takes a toll on its students. It is my goal and to modernize Kenpo practice and
refine it to meet everyone's needs.
